Anyone have any experience with a Sportster power pack based bike called Thunder Mountain?
As in "Thunder Mountain Customs"?
There is a HD dealer in iLoveland, Co. that used to sell brand new HD bikes of various models that they modded and warrantied. Not sure if the Sportster platform was one they used or not.
I found sportster based Thunder Mountain models on the Google.
My understanding is that they were custom built cycles built using stock motors so that Harley dealerships would work on them.

Yup. And they were very well done right there in Loveland at the dealership.
