Finally got my dyna up to Bristol for the first time after the build this past winter. It was during Bristols street fights/TNT night so the track wasn't prepped the greatest in the world but being my first time on a strip at I was happy with it. 60 foot needs a bunch of work, but overall had a good time and stayed consistent 11.7's all night, best being 11.72 @ ~115. Best 60 foot was 1.8, definitely need to work on that but if I tried to leave much harder it spun on me.
Any tips/tricks/advice welcomed.
Build is an 07 FXDB, 117" S&S640, 10.75:1 comp, Head hoggers ported 110 heads, Wild Things 57mm TB, JBV Guppy pipe, Rivera ProClutch.
And the obligatory photographer pic
   Play with tire pressure & launch RPM to control front wheel lift & rear tire spin. I'd lower the fork tubes an inch or so for the track.
Seat time and more seat time will get the 60' down another tenth. Once you're very comfy with your tire pressure/RPM/clutch operation off the line, try physically surging (using your abs/legs to thrust your body forward) as you launch, so the engine only has to get the bike rolling. Not an easy operation, but once mastered, you'll be smoother, and drop another tenth.
Appreciate the info!
11.70's all night is good , your ready for bracket racing . I cant keep consitant , i run from 11.06 to 11.40
well done and very good pic

congratulations! If you don't mind, what are you running for a rear tire and how much air pressure?

Just saw this man my bad, and I have been running a Dunlop Roadsmart 3 @ 24psi, still a tube tire. This past weekend we went back to TnT, and I'm out of tire. Spinning through the 60, best 60' time was a 1.94. Putting a hookup on it before the AMRA Race 8/20 @ Bristol. Should realistically pick up at least a couple tenths with a good tire.
hookup, is that a tire? I've got a SE Dunlop 502 180/60/17 on my 124 Dyna, it's somewhat sticky but it still spins on the street. It's the biggest tire I can use on the stock 4.5 in. wheel.
Yep, it's a drag radial though, wouldn't really recommend for the street. that 170 wide Roadsmart does well on the street but I can still make it spin in first

Are you sourcing a wider wheel for the Shinko Hookup? I'm interested in what'll fit my 07 Dyna?
I used this (https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/shinko-003-stealth-tires?sku_id=270711), or this (https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/shinko-003-stealth-ultra-soft-tires?sku_id=270716) on my Dyna- won't last, but it hooks!
Stock wheel or otherwise?
I used a deuce wheel, cuz that is what I had in 17".
