02 FLSTC rear piston jet stuck open, going to replace the set. Question is Harleys are $19 apiece and S&S are $62.00 for the set anybody know of any benefit of S&S over Harley for this application. I'm sure quality is better S&S look machined an Harleys cast, but does it really matter? Other than price?
Factory Harley standard, and 120R jets always work for me. Haven't had an issue. Just be careful tightening the fragile torx fasteners.

Might check out Kevin Baxters channel. He did a few good videos on Harleys Piston cooling jets. Are S&S any better? I don't know. I myself haven't tested or have a opinion either way. I went S&S for my 124" build. Be interesting to see a few tests on them as well.

I have the S&S. I don't know if they're any better, but my builder likes them.
I have the jims jets came with the 116" kit
Only time we use the lowered S&S thermal piston jets, is when we build 124"-larger.
I use those in my personal 131" T/C.
Shy of that, OEM HD.
S&S jets are obviously higher quality than OEM but would i bother changeing them if mine were working fine,no.if your motor has debris in the oil,it will plug a S&S jet as it will OEM.the real reason for S&S jets is to lower them for longer strokes
