2015 Dyna inlet manifold plug

Took a head off a friends Dyna last week , but got rudely interrupted by getting knocked off my bike . Put the head and inlet manifold back on it today but I've got a plug left over . Any know where this goes please ?
I did wonder if it went on the air filter , this has a Kuryakyn filter assembly .

Could it be the California or international active intake plug that is unused?

That's what I'm thinking / hoping , it's definitely an international model , thanks .

It's unused here in the states, does your locale require the active intake emissions protocols? The plug looks like it was plugged into something as opposed to being a dummy plug.

I'd suggest seeing where the other end of the wire goes and then look it up in the service manual.  The HD Service manual has an excellent wiring diagram that is relatively easy to follow.

The plug does look like it was once plugged into something but I have no idea where.

ACR plug.  I hope your tank isn't on yet.  Easy fix if it isn't

I've got a '15 Dyna also, and have the same plug. It's been there since new.  :nix: If I remember correctly ( Yeah I Know, quit laughing) my 2013 FLTRX had the same plug, no issue with either bike.

It's the same plug as the ACR feed wire to the harness out of the head. I have a103 on the bench and a 2011 RGU on the lift.  It's identical to the pic you show.  If you don't have ACR's then it is not required.  It's the lead from the main harness.  If you do have ACR's and the harness out from under the Rocker box I'd say that's where it goes.

Looked it up in the "book", Active air intake, on the back of the air cleaner bracket is a clip to mount it. You don't have the original backing plate so just leave it off. Seems they all have the pig tail, just no where for it to go on U.S. models.

Thanks dirty Jim that confirms my thoughts , being an international model it would have had the active air cleaner, it doesn't have compression releases. The bike now has a Kuryakyn air cleaner so that plug is unused.

I was reading the thread about needing a deeper ECM tray for the tuner and there was a link to Dyno Jet to buy one.  I thought I'd take a look to see what they looked like and what they did cuz I had never seen one.  On the first page of the catalog, (first attachment) 2nd item, is an Air box Valve Bypass unit. It appears to have the spade pins side by side like your plug.  There was no other description but it seemed to be associated with tuning after removal of the valve (like yours?).  It took some searching but I found a site that explained the valve bypass use, translated it from German and attached it below.  It appears it was on the European models in some years. I found it interesting and it may be a consideration for you.

Got it running today ( last weeks accident has slowed me down ) no oh "Potty mouth" light so I'm confident it was for the active air cleaner

Yes originally on international models in 2007 we had active air and active exhaust and if you just unplugged either one to put on a new air cleaner or a exhaust with no reflash of the ECM it would throw a fault code. Those little plugs just add a resistor across 2 of the pins so the ECM thinks they are plugged in and still working. Fairly quickly though the tuner market caught up and you could disable them with a ECM flash which meant the plugs were obsolete but they obviously still them for some reason. I think the TTS was the first to disable them but even HD gave the SEPST the ability to disable them later on. Just another pain in the ass thing you have to deal with when you have an international model.
