Check the clutch adjustment as well. With the two piece cable and crappy plastic adjuster, it is a bit of change from the old style cable. Coming off my hydraulic and going back to cable, the first thing I did was get the FBI adjuster (also got the Muller ramps)which made it much easier to adjust.

Clutch drag probably, what's in the primary for oil...do ya know or did you "just" pick it up?

  My 76 shifts almost silently since I went to the Rivera Pro Clutch.  To hit neutral at a complete stop I do very slight blip. Sometimes I think that's as much old habit as anything.  It's night and day compared to my 12. 

Just disconnect it.

Just bought a 21 rgs, when trying to back off a tilt bed trailer in neutral it acts like it's in gear pulling in the clutch helps a little. And when starting it "in neutral" it jumps forward, thoughts?

I believe I have a memory stick with many service manuals from 1995 to 2013. Moved twice, going to be a chore to find it, but I think I can do it.

Our tech has replaced about 10 rear head gaskets on 2019 models

The S&S pistons for the 97 or 98 3.928 and 3.938 domes are very close and will work verified by clay checking with .040 head gasket.
