My bike is an '06 CVO Ultra. It doesn't have an infotainment system with built in BT, all it has is the Harmon Kardon system with CD player and a 3.5mm jack in the front. In 2012 I had the IronCross audio system installed to hook up to my iPod. This gave me full finction through the control switches, or so I thought. It worked well initially, and then slowly over the years it began losing one control component after another. It finally ended up as just a player that I could not pause, skip, go back or surf through.  Finally I called IronCross and learned they no longer sell or repair the system. It seems they all developed issues with wiring.

So based on positive reviews on Revzilla I purchased the HogTunes BT system. Install was much easier than removing the old IronCross system. It replaces the ambient air gauge in the dash, and I'm okay with that. It sync'd up to my old iPod easily and I was off an running. I now keep the iPod in the tour pack hooked up to a USB charger. As soon as I turn on the bike, it syncs up and plays when I tap the button. From the unit I can play, pause, skip forward, skip back, and control audio up and down.  It can syn'c up to 8 items, and even has it's own 3.5mm jack in the back.  My plan is to use it strictly for music, while I run phone and GPS into my helmet.

For those of you with older bikes, this is not a bad option.

All I need now is a single chrome instrument bezel ring for it.
