I have a 2020 ultra limited with the Harley whim insalled and am having a problem having it connect to my phone and cardo packtalk bold. is there a new update for the bold I looked at the harley site and am not sure what to download

I do not believe Harley supports any bluetooth devices to the WHIM except Harley branded sena units. Links is for USA Harley software

You need to pair your phone to the boom and your head sets to the whim. If you do not use the harley braned sena headset you will not get stereo from the headset speakers.
