Title: PV- Adaptive Knock Retard
Post by: Rhamlyn on June 28, 2022, 09:03:50 PM
Hello all

I've read through as many posts as I could find about this pe but it still wasn't clear to me. The issue I have is that when i review my power vision data logs it shows that my timing is being regarded on both front and rear cylinders but I am not logging any knock counts. Looks to be adaptive knock retard. How can I confirm my knock sensors are working ? I have a 2017 Sg special

Zero out adaptive table.  This won't test your sensors but will turn off adaptive for tuning purposes.  If still wanting to test.   Add some timing in roll on area until you see some timing being pulled.

Chances are good that there is nothing wrong with sensors and the cal is doing what it is being told to do.
