i have a 1990 fxrp on my lift.it had an inner primary noise.found that chain was hitting the upper rear crank
case bolt.the boss for this bolt is so thick that the bolt hits the chain.also now i find that the pri chain
adjuster back plate also sits out too far & the chain hits the adjuster plate.what's the deal am i missing
something?this is a delkron heavy duty primary. yes i'am old & getting wore out but can't stop working
on these things. Al :idunno:
Not sure it's the problem, but IIRC, 1990 had a stand alone trans, and clutch. :angry:
