Title: 2015 road glide front end bangs

a friend  has  a 2015 road  glide  rode good  was  leaking  and  low on fluid . took  apart  tubes were  scored inside  replace  them  and  rebuilt  internal  now  it bangs and  will  bottom  out  on a   good  bump, any idea  what  the  problem  is ?

... it didn't before with no/low fluid? Hmmm...

If the parts were re-assembled in the proper order and 12 oz (or SM spec) of Type E, maybe weak springs?

Back in 1992 at the factory police service school that issue was referred to as Fluid Lock. Once the oil is compressed as far as possible it acts and sounds like it's solid.
