We have a t-man 555 torquester ready to go. By the numbers I've seen CR570-2 produces best. Can't return the 555, would have to sell it for a loss then buy the 570-2.
Would there be any significant reason to go through the hoops to get the 570-2 or just plug the 555 in? 2013 FLHX stock with pro pipe and stage 1 ac, PV and will get dynod after.
Go with the 555 cams they are a great bolt in cam ,I use them lots .With a good tune you will be happy :kick:
Take a look at how the 555's compare to the 570-2 with a $50. +4 advance sprocket.

Andrews 48 is my fav. But this one already has a 555 ready to go. What I'm asking is would there be any reason to sell this 555 off, in favor of a different bolt in setup? Simply doing this for a bump in tq for 2-up touring.
From what I remember reading here on this site, the 555 will give very good early torque, perfect for riding two up.
Apparently the 555 came in two varieties... a low lift .625" and a "torquester" with an earlier intake close, less duration, and different specs than the "regular" 555 across the board... I was looking at the wrong one.
I was thinking a "bolt in" cam with these specs for a stock bike was a little bit on the strange side...

I would talk with T-Man, confirm which cam you have, and verify that it will work for you.
The 625 is not a torquester. The torqster is a .555 lift only. He also had a .525 lift bolt in cam. The .555 torquester does what the name says, very close LSA, plenty of overlap. Humped up curve if the pipe cooperates.
Are the 555s, regular and torquester, bolt in cams for a 103?
I don't think there is a regular 555 any more. At least not listed on his website. The cam for the 103" I'm talking about was purchased only several months ago, so I'm pretty sure it's the 555 "torquester" that's listed on tman's website.
I told the owner there were better options because I saw the specs for the old 555 (non-torquester) cam. After seeing the specs for the 555 torquester I think he's good to go!
The only reason I put the .625 specs in there was to show that the old (non torquester) 555 had the same specs as the tman 625 except for the lift. The specs for the "non-torquester" .555 would not be a "bolt on" imho for the 103, other than it having .555" lift. But it doesn't exist anymore anyways.
Bolt those things in, tune it, and let him enjoy the hell out of it!
