2002 fxd with carb

it quits running every once in a while and then it will start back up. Check the fuses put a new coil in it. do not know what else it could be

We need more info.
Is the bike stock?
Does it stop dead like an electrical fault or sputter a bit like a fuel starvation problem?
How old is the battery?

FYI, on my 99 FLTR it was either the ignition module or the Crank Position Sensor. Ended up replacing both, problem gone.
YMMV though, everything electrical on your bike is getting old!
