Title: Hydraulic clutch release fix?
Post by: fleetmechanic on August 07, 2019, 05:16:12 PM
HD is now offering a single clutch spring plate in a bag that supposedly improves the ability to feather the hydraulic clutches a little more  when doing tight maneuvers like cone patterns.  Does this replace the spring plate in the back of the clutch stack and does it seem to help with the on or off feel of these clutches?

You're not talking about the spring that comes in the 2019's that folks are retrofitting are you?

P/N is 37000295 with a mfg. date of 9/18.  Parts guys said they had been selling them to PDs that bought '19s.  So I'm guessing they should
go back a couple of years before that.
