Anyone played with mounting a dyna exhaust to a bagger? (‘08 and later)

I'd like to go to mid controls on my 2008 road king. One of the issues I'm running into is limited exhaust options, as many of the touring 2 into 1's route the rear cylinders exhaust just in front of the transmission. My question is has anyone played around with mounting up dyna, or FXR exhaust on twin cam's? I know the motors are rotated slightly forward (along the crank axis) on touring bikes compared to the Dynas. Obviously other modification will be necessary as well but wanted to know if anyone had luck going this route.
