If you really can't recall, do the re-test to confirm. you'll eliminate a lot once you confirm.

Purchased Tools / Darkhorse Universal Pinion and...

This is a great design. Simple, but really a great idea. DH has a fixture that will allow you to measure pinion and sprocket shaft runout for '70 and up Shovels, all Evolution, all Twin cam and all M8 motors. Just looking at this makes you realize just how over built all of the current runout tools are. I mean there is no pressure from a dial indicator to speak of. One bolt will hold the fixture just fine.

It did pop a couple times but, I still had the wires connected to the plugs under the tank. BUT,.... I honestly can't remember what it did when I took the tank off and checked it the opposite way. I'm pretty sure I didn't have any wires connected to any of the plugs at that point. I don't think it was Popping during that set of spark tests. hmmm

Milwaukee-Eight / Re: Twin cooled to oil cooled

The coolant line assemblies have different mounting flanges where they attach to the heads. I suppose that if you used the coorect cooling lines for the heads you are using you could make it work.  The water manifold has the feed and return lines going towards the front of the bike. The oil cooled lines have one line going forward and one going back.

12.99v on the new battery after sitting for 2 days.
12.06 on the old one. I'm going to top it off with a charge from the Battery Minder and see how it goes.

The part numbers are different between oil cooled and water cooled heads, but same valve springs, valves, seals, collars, keepers, exhaust studs & gaskets, so,  there must be some machining or casting difference.
