Title: 1995 Dyna front motor mount...Genuine HD or aftermarket?
Post by: 1982fxr on June 02, 2021, 06:58:22 PM
Is this one of those things where the factory Harley part is the better choice?

Looks like most of the aftermarket ones are almost $100, with some being a lot more.  I think the HD part is just over $100 on these?

Bike is staying mostly stock.

47583-90B from the MOCO is the piece you need. HD unit will last decades. I can't say the same for the aftermarket units I've tried.

I installed the Barry Controls Mount.  Even with shipping it's less than 1/2 the cost of the OEM.  Bike hasn't been this smooth since it was new 117,000 mi ago.  Barry was the OEM supplier back in the day.  My bike is an 01 FLHT,, Not sure if yours uses the same mount.

Friend of mine who has a MC machine shop up in MA ordered 10 of them and has had good results with the ones he has installed.
