Working on a 2000 XLH 883 with 1200 cylinders and am not sure what carburetor is on it. I have a service manual and a parts book. The book looks different that what I am finding in carb. Carb on bike is a CV carb Kehin/harley but don't know if it has been replaced when it was upgraded to 1200. Number on carb is 27495-96. Is this stock or a replacement. It has Harley Davidson on it but not be stock. I don't know if it has any other mods, cams, head work or anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
27495-96 is the OEM carburetor for a 2000 883 Sportster California only. Might be used on other bikes as well.
Vin number checks out as 2000 XL883 California only. Wasn't sure if stock carb or not. Got a carb kit coming from Calif Phil
