Title: MAP Normalisation Gain and Minimum TPS For Baro Correction Calibrations.
Post by: Hilly13 on August 31, 2023, 12:36:04 PM

G'day, I've been reading through the latest TTS Tuning Guide, it's pretty good, some things have changed but the flow is basically the same, then I find these little gems, my questions are...
1. When I do a data run to get the MAP data for the RPM break points in the MAP Normalisation Gain do I just do a run (in second gear?) from 1500rpm to redline in a smooth but rapid roll on or just peg the throttle and hang on?
2. For minimum TPS for Baro I'm stumped how I could do what is asked for without a dyno because steady RPM and increasing TP mean glowing discs?

For # 1 I just peg it. I use 6th on the dyno but on the street the higher the gear the more data points.
