Title: Partial throttle detonation
Post by: topcat3815 on September 17, 2023, 05:03:21 AM
Looking for help ,Have a 2014 limited recently installed Fuel Moto 107 kit with 10.25 compression piston, Andrews tw54h cam, reworked Don Dorfmam heads heads  .030 head gasket stock throttle body and injectors, S&S air cleaner, Fuel Moto header and Supertrapp fatshots. Iam using a power vision tuner with target tune and wideband sensors. There is a waiting list to get it dyno tuned so fUEL moto sent me a map to get it going. I am getting partial throttle detonation around 2400 to 3000 rpm,s I called Fuel Moto and they sent me another map with the same results, I removed 2 degrees of timing in PV mid range no help, Any and all replies are appreciated Thank You

Have you tried to do some autotune? Usually you want to fix the VE table before the ignition table. Make sure to save your map before, so you can revert back to it if needed.

Is the detonation audible, or is it showing up on data logs?
If you can attach your map, and any data logs taken while using that map, maybe we could see what's happening?
