For a V rod that changes the front sprocket from 28-26 what is the setting in (primary ratio) to use so the speedo remains accurate. Rear sprocket is stock 72 tooth. Current stock setting in TTS for primary ratio is 1.828. The actual engine gear drive ratio is 64/117. Just want to be sure of what setting to use for the 26 instead of the 28

Wouldn't you change it in the VSS?

I saw that and played with it but it's only a calculator. How do you put the change into the primary numbers for ECM constants?
Ron
You do it as you flash the ECM with the MAP. When you flash the ECM you get the option to change the VSS as well before download.

No "Potty mouth"? That simple?
Ron
It's in the settings.

FYI Ron, just so I was clear, the primary numbers don't change, they don't effect the speedometer. Every time you reflash the ECM, it'll show default for the VSS, but you can ignore making a VSS change when you know the correct info is already in the ECM.

Understood. Not for me but a bud using TTS. As you know, I use PV and that speedo deal can be set in the calibration prior to loading.
