Title: Fuel pump losing it's prime?
Post by: fbn ent on April 27, 2018, 07:19:40 PM
Haven't had a chance to look at it yet but the wife's '07 seems to lose it's prime. Pump is noisy on initial key on and then a few seconds after starting until it hits pressure and then it settles down to normal and doesn't make any abnormal noise until it sits for a few days. Changed out filter and intake sock last year when I did the top end and it was ok....started after sitting through a couple months of Winter. I'll pull it apart when we get home. Anything I should look for? Maybe a bad clamp on the inlet I guess...
