I have a 62 FLH I'm going over and have a set of Velva touch lifters for it. Can you run the stock cast iron pump on those lifters or do I have to update the pump to up the volume for these lifters? Engine shows very good oil pressure on the gauge.
If you have the budget I would change it ,if not give the stock one a try.It doesn't take a lot of pressure to keep the lifters pumped up.Velvas are my first choice one older builds
