Title: Anyone upgrade from an older SERT/SEPST to a newer VCI module?
Post by: tomp on August 30, 2019, 09:02:56 AM
Curious if this has ever been done, upgrading from an older SERT or SEPST to one of the newer VCIs like the orange SEPST? It's getting harder and harder to keep an old Windows XP machine with serial RS-232 port alive and running. My old laptop that I was keeping just for this purpose has died just sitting in the closet.

I use a serial to usb adapter i got from TTS years ago to get around not having a serial port on my lap top.
