Title: Gas leaking from breather
Post by: 1biker1 on February 22, 2010, 01:12:15 PM
Was curious if anyone can help. After a short 40 mile ride I noticed gas on my oil tank. Then I noticed gas was dripping from my breather. Anybody know what may cause this and how might I fix this? Thanks for your assistance.

reversion....your carb is not sucking in as much as your trying to feed it.  Generally this happens when the engine gets bogged down. This can be common under any of the following conditions:  883 engines, drag pipes (or equivilent tq killing pipes), jet kits, and open eleiment air cleaners (since gas runs out easier than enclosed housings).

Is this bike new for you or have you had the bike for a while and this is a new problem?
