Thanks, a buddy of mine has a wore out 95" that's got a nasty piston slap . He called and asked me about that 100" sidewinder kit. I'd never heard of them, but told him I'd ask on here

What problems did you see.
Have done several 110 kits with zero issues. Unless something changes I will never use anything else.
Have a 110 from GMR runs like a raped ape!!!!?
Just upgraded a 103 to a 110 kit 500 miles on so far it Screams. Got my Fingers crossed. No problem yet.
I haven't been able to find nothing bad on the s&s kits. But found several posts where the factory HD 110 kits failed.
Interesting mine is a SE kit probably around 20,000 miles never even used any oil and I run the hell out of it

The majority of the posts I found on the se kits, started out as noise, kinda like a piston slap, and when they got them apart, there was severe scoring in cylinders. They were all warrantied. I think it was on the first kits, and they found them out of round

They have been a success here. No issues to report

I've only herd one story (and it was not a horror story on a forum) of a bolt on S&S 110" having issues. And they were due to poor tune and improper break in... not the kits fault.
