I've been wanting see what this bike will do for awhile now. The last 2 months I've gone to 3 street legal sessions. Last night I finally got an 11 second time slip. I'm thrilled and only wish I had started this earlier in the year as now they are closed for the season.

Things to work on are definitely my launch.

The left lane bike was my buddy Max's 2009 EG with a 107 inch. We are both getting into this together and making some headway as we go. That was his first time in the 12's.

Im the left lane dude Max, it's definitely a blast. I would love to see some more HD bike hit the track.

I asked because it seems in the  1/8 you had good mph. I thought you may have lifted early?

I went in to 5th right at the end when I shouldn't have, still had a few 100 RPM in 4th to go

Im playing with gearing to be right at redline in 5th at finish line

I'm going with a EVO Industries 49 tooth basket on my 11 RGC this winter. Still got some riding left. That would gear you down enough, without loosing the compensator

The 49 tooth Evo clutch basket and 31 tooth transmission sprocket leaves you with a 3.16 final gearing.  It just works everywhere.

what's the ratio if you only do the basket? I know on my 07 it comes out to 2.97 but stock it's 2.79. My 11 is 2.84 stock.

Just a change of the basket to 49 tooth gets you 3.063 on the 2011 bike.

That's what I'm running right now on my 2008, I changed the rear from 66 tooth to 68 tooth, and added the 49 tooth Evo basket.

Here's a calculator that you can keep for reference.  It'll do compression and other things too.

BTW, I should have mentioned that using the 31 tooth sprocket you get to keep the stock belt. No fuss, no muss.  Did I mention it works everywhere?   (around town, highway and strip)

The 2011 (09 up) is the full rear Cush drive adapter so the rear sprocket change is not as simple as the 08.  What isn't mentioned here is the speedo is off and in some cases cruise is a problem.   Depending on the tuner being used (if any) that is easily rectified.

I know, the 2011 touring already has a 68 tooth rear pulley.

I was just explaining that I went from OEM 66 tooth to 68 tooth. FYI I kept the 2008 cush drive by using a pulley for a Japanese export rear pulley for a Sportster.

The 2007 touring is similar, just uses a different year export Sportster pulley.
