I want to put a new exhaust header pipe and slip on vance & Hines mufflers. Can this be done with out the race tuner and high flow air intake ? I intend to do the full stage one but for now I just wanted to upgrade the exhaust system. This is on a 2011 road king with fuel injection.
Only if you want it to run correctly....
It might run well enough that you can ride it, but to be correct it should be tuned. Even a stock engine can improve with a tune.
