I have a rear wheel bearing set for my RSD wheel. On the seal it reads Nachi 6205NSE. Went to a bearing supplier for replacement and get an SKF 6205-2RSH/C3. I thought I was good to go until I realized the ID for the SKF is 25mm. My axle is 3/4". In looking up the numbers and comparing other 6205's, all I see are 25mm ID. OD is fine at 52mm.

What am I missing? So much for one stop shopping  :nix: .

so the bearings in the wheel are 6205's ?

has the wheel ever been on the bike?

for 3/4" axle you're going to need 6304's

Yes I've run it for years.
Well the bearing seal reads 6205NSE. A 6205 is 25mm x 52mm x 15mm. I neglected to register that 25mm is not 3/4" when I bought new ones. So either they used a seal from a 6205 on a 6304 or ? I see 6304 is 20x52x15. 20mm is slightly larger than 3/4". Thanks FSG!

Don't use the 20mm bore on a 3/4" axle!!!
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

The bearing shown in the link is 21mm thick which would require my spacers to be cut down. The bearings I have are 15mm. The 15mm sinks into the hub 0.125" as it is now. a 20mm would stick out about 0.125".

Yeah, 20mm and 3/4" bores don't match up exactly so that doesn't work either.

I used your link and think I found it. https://www.123bearing.com/bearing-6205-19-2RS-C3-NACHI.php

Thanks.

or use the larger easily obtained bearings with axle reducers typically for less than 10 $kins

I believe the part 6205-2rs-3/4 is what you need.
