Title: Servicar rear end
Post by: panheadfred on June 18, 2009, 09:46:15 AM
Does anyone know who made the parts for the servicar rearend- are the wheel cyls, brake shoes and drums from a vehicle that I might be able to buy at a reasonable price? Are there many aftermarket places? I have found 1 place so far.

HD shopped a lot of their parts from AC Delco- it's possible that your brake cylinders may be the same as a Chevy. NAPA has cross references for most Brake parts- try them. The shoes may be the same as a Duo-Glide, I'm not sure, lost my Parts Manual. The Drums will be found at Swap Meets, or try Nick's Cycle Salvage in Williamstown N.J.- he's got tons of old stuff. http://www.nickscustomcycles.com/default.asp (http://www.nickscustomcycles.com/default.asp)
