Title: 2001 Sportster No Oil to Front Cylinder
Post by: CHausmann96 on May 30, 2016, 05:47:53 PM
This past weekend I pulled apart my 2001 Sportster 1200C. I put a new head gasket and all new rocker gaskets because my front cylinder was leaking. I made sure every oil passages were clear. From the head to the top rocker. I couldn't get oil. I check the ball valve behind the oil filter and still no oil. I took off the top rocker and cranked it over and I can't seem to get any oil to the front cylinder only. Can anyone help?

p-rods  in right location? all the oil comes up threw them , all holes clean?  if all is good  fill the p-rods with oil after dropping them in there holes , prime the pump as they say. the rockers  need to be tighten down  to put pressure  on the lifters to get the oil to pump up .
