Title: Rear speaker recommendations
Post by: skunk on August 03, 2019, 09:00:10 AM
08 RG, added on rear pods with HT  speakers. Up front are BT 7.1 speakers, stock head unit. Adding the BT4180 amp and I am pretty sure the HT speakers won't hold up for long. Biketronics does not carry speakers for the rears. What would you recommend for rear speakers that would fit in the earlier pods?

My '15 Limited has the BT 4180 amp, along with the 7.1s up front. In the rear I use Polk MM651s. They actually outperform the 7.1s. They have an external crossover.... I ran the wires through the ports into the trunk & have the crossovers there.... don't think there's room in the pods. The speakers fit with no mods or spacers, couldn't be happier with them.

Ive got titian IIs in my tour pak pods. 6.5 with their adapter rings. The pods are harley oem. Works great. It does shrink the sitting room by about an inch for the passenger, but it hasnt been an issue.
