I feel this has been discussed before so sorry for the repetition!
SS oil pump cover - can we successfully machine existing cover to accomodate the 'seal' from the HD pump cover?

I also thought about this as I have the 1st Gen pump. I looked into just buying the cover, but S&S wont sell it. Funny,they will sell the gears, but not the cover. I gave up, bit the "Potty mouth" sandwich, and bought the updated pump.
