Title: Running issue after se pro tuner
Post by: 1stop on October 12, 2021, 01:37:13 PM
2014 cvo road king. Se pro tuner for tuning. Issue is  at 2500 rpm, 10ish throttle , 30-40 kpa. After tuning, took on test ride & noticed at 10ish tps, throttle held steady, bike running eradic.  Pulled up log & twist grip data is steady at 10%. Tps though is jumping around from 8 to 12%. Affecting map from 30 to 40 kpa . Tps sensor voltage, inj pulse , timing, also jumping up & down. Posting here to see if anyone else has run across similar problem. Suggestions? Fuel afr reading good. Customer says there wasn't any issue before hand. This was a 110 to 117 build with s&s 585 cams,10:5 compression, power duels with 4in Rinehart. Thanks

When the customer says there were no issues beforehand, what does that mean? Before the build? Running a different tune originally on the new build and now a new tune?

Did some testing. I can make symptoms happen in. neutral holding throttle at 8ish twist grip % steady. Twist grip% toggles by 3-4% holding steady. Tried new tgs with same result. I can watch throttle plate move back and forth. Anyone run into this situation before? Thanks.

Just a shot, is the timing set steady in that area or advancing?

If you have access to the throttle progressivity table, you might try adjusting it

It was the calibration.  Was corrupt somehow.
