Post by: rich1 on October 27, 2021, 03:35:16 AM
Bike is an 18 Heritage. Which fuse or wiring harness is easiest to remove to prime oil pump without injecting fuel into cylinders? Thanks

Easiest way to me is to simply unplug the fuel line from the tank, pull the plugs on the primary side, and operate the starter.

With a short lead.  You can jump your positive post on the starter to the starter solenoid connector.

If you hold the throttle wide open, the system will turn off the fuel injectors and you can crank the starter.

If you do what Jason said you don't have to do anything else.  It's by far the easiest method and how I've always done it.
