Title: 110 cyl. no boring kits, are they the same gaskets for 2014^ CVO?
Post by: Hybredhog on May 07, 2021, 12:16:45 PM
Got a customer that had put on "110 cylinders" , not knowing what brand, and has a bad base oring leak. I'm suspecting it might be a VT kit "cheap", and not sure who's piston are in it, As I'd like to put a set of rings in too. So I'm trying figure out which pistons and if the newer CVO's are standard spigot holes.

Try a borescope peek at the top of the pistons.  Ifd there isn't a lot of miles on it and it's externally vented you may be able to read some ID markings on the tops.  I was able to see mine quite clearly at about 5,000 miles.
