Title: 2005 Sportster Transmission

Has anyone replaced the main bearing on the output drive without removing the motor and splitting the cases?
I'm taking about Bearing part #   8996A.

Sorry, no can do. That's a "split the cases" job. The MDG is a press fit into the bearing.

Looks  bad . Loose pulley start the issue.?
