Title: SE Manual Primary Tensioner 07 and up
Post by: 838 on October 27, 2020, 08:40:38 AM
Anybody have experience with these? Is there any difference between the Harley (SE) version and the V-Twin version?

I had no idea that HD offered a manual primary chain adjuster 07 and up. If I knew about it I still would have bought the Twin Power unit from California Phils.

I think you will find there is a member here with photos and a no response or help from seller who might disagree with that statement.

So that is a 6 year old thread and the OP himself said he had been running the tensioner for years and had no complaints about it prior to his issue...  I didn't see any mention of the seller not helping the OP.  In fact the OP stated the seller asked for his address...?  Further, another member posted that there was a bad batch and that the seller had replaced his....?

I have put SE's in and had to take them out because of noise and eat the cost. One was so bad you hear it in the shop from the Parking Lot when the customer showed up. Same with drag and same others. However, I have not tried the V-Twin. Other than that, I just use the stock tensioners now.
