I think they are all made by the same company. Buy whichever packaging you like the most.
23 years on the stock one, pretty impressive don't you think? No reason to not stick with OEM if it's been meeting the needs.

A stoke replacement is fine, under a $100 U.S dollars.
If you have done a little to your motor such as cam and carb, and wont her to run a bit better, then I would suggest an Ultima or Dynatek unit.
I have the Ultima unit in both my Evo's and love it.

That puddling goo is potting material to protect the electronics.
HD now offers a superceded p/n 32448-95B that I believe has a better (higher?) resistance to the original.
Then again, the Ultima will be cheaper. A couple of locals are running them in bone stock evos, and are perfectly satisfied with them.
