Audio and Electronics / Re: H-D Nav.

I'm still trying to figure it out! I don't really remember using the 2015, but hubby used it to get home when he rode it up from So CA. The one on his 2015 shows everywhere except where he actually is. They tried to update it, but it still isn't right. So I'm not sure on these new ones. If I'm travelling, I will look at stuff on a real map, and then look it up on the computer to see where I need to go and what exits etc. I need to take. It helps that I have a pretty good sense of direction. :rose:

I used the Gen2 head data you supplied. What's nice is he measured the port volumes in cc's and I'm able to use that in this program. I also added a slight taper to the exhaust collector. Numbers look reasonable now. So I have the pipe tuned pretty well, and the Gen2 head data I saved with the port data.

The example is for a 2025 117" FLHX. Just looking......    :scoot:

Audio and Electronics / H-D Nav.

How dependable is the 2024 H-D Nav? I assume it's satellite based?

My Garmin Zumo has never lost the connection, even in the mountains, but I really don't want to clutter up the handlebars with a redundant system if I don't have to.  Leaving it on the 12 Ultra might add some slight sales appeal.

Twin Cam / Re: compensator

If it looks like this you're good to go. The scoop drops oil on the T70 Torx bolt that holds the compensator together. The angled head of the Torx wicks the oil into the center of the compensator where it's needed.

My sim says that combo goes 135/111, TQ peak @ 2600, HP peak @ 5K.
This is G2 center data from Rick. #s didn't show improvement above .5" lift

I also use it in the AE Pro software. I was working on this setup yesterday, and remembered I hadn't posted the head data here.

An M8 117", with a CR460 cam and D&D pipe. The peak torque and HP I believe is slightly optimistic.

Not sure if its still a thing, but when I had to do my 2002 Deuce about 20 years ago, I split the old hose the long way and wrapped it around the new hose for more protection.
