Title: Advise on Target AFR for Better MPG
Post by: vafatboy1 on October 09, 2020, 02:18:42 PM
Bike was tuned by someone known to folks here and I'm happy with it overall.  He has closed his shop and he's not tuning anymore.  This isn't a tuner bashing thread by a long shot.  With that said......I get 42-44 MPG when cruising at 60-65, But I rarely ever run those speeds when on the highway.  When I cruise at my normal 70-75 mph I get 36-38 MPG.

I've attached a screen shot of my afr table.  Looking for advice on what cells to change.
2002 Electra Glide Classic
95 CI
37b Cam [attach=0]
BigBoyz Heads
FatCat Header
Supettrapp Muffler

Thanks

75 MPH on you bike should be ~3200 RPM, and somewhere between 65 and 80 KPA- I'd set that area to 14.2, and evaluate over a tank or two.

Maybe also check if the PE (power enrichment) mode is set for a low rpm, just a thought.
