Title: Harley 131” Crate Motor M8
Post by: pwmorris on January 23, 2020, 09:18:13 AM
Not bad, complete replacement crate, and with their Street Cannon pipe, makes 131/121, which although not big numbers, should be plenty for the average rider.
Cali guys need to get it out of state as it supposedly isn't available due to noise and emissions.

I think the MOCO did an about turn on the crate sales recently.  The initial info was a VIN restricted purchase only which required turning in or the dealer destroying the numbered case half.  This now allows a buyer to keep their original engine as a spare or sell it as a complete unit to recoup the crate engine cost or put it into "real" performance mods.

I heard the same news about not turning in the cases when buying the 131 crate motor, smart move MOCO!!!! I'm sure that would have stopped a lot of people from even considering it....
