Title: SE valve springs
Post by: hrdtail78 on January 14, 2022, 08:15:05 AM
I was looking at bolting in the Red Shift 552 cam into an already existing 124.  Build is a S&S 124 drop on cylinder and piston kit, and SE cnc heads.  Zippers state that the SE springs are not good enough for their 550 lift cam and I need the springs they offer.

I run their EV715 cam in an engine that redlines at 8000, and I have a special spring package to deal with it.  Is this really a concern for a street bike that is going to 6200?  What are peoples opinions on the SE spring packs they offer?

By the specs they are fine but they break! I recommend using Kibblewhite 20-21800 available from Goodson
