Any 18' Softails out there having a chain rattle?
Mine rattles loudly at 2000 - 2300 rpm in third gear and it is loud!\
Had it in and adjusted already and still rattles.

Hmmm, with all the 3rd gear issues that are surfacing, I'd be draining that gearbox and see what the magnet has on it

Usually takes high mileage to wear out the fuel cap to the point of rattling but I Have seen a couple on the new softails rattle louder than the exhaust with less than 500 miles.

Maybe! I'll check that today. Maybe time for duct tape! :idunno:
I have had three new HD gas caps on my 2018 softail and they all rattle loudly. This is a common issue with the 2018+ softails. Must have something to do with the resonance of the solid mount motor with the new softails.
