Just wondering in a  116" AT 11.3 COMP , would the TMAN 660PS2 cam  be a good choice , currently run a TW9BG with a +2 key ,  in a softail 116" at 11.3 ,  zippers billet heads 2.0 int, 1.62ex, 53mm HPI , Thunder max 6.2gms injectors , DYNA boarzilla pipe , bike is pretty low geared , since it has belt drive

wondering if it would be worth the change and would just be pretty much a wash

the 660ps looks like a shorter cam closes earlier but has higher lift,

the open and close numbers do look close , especailly when you add the +2 key , prob not worth the $$ to do it

It's supposed to be a redesigned 660SM to slow the ramps down.  It is apparently quieter than the earlier version. I have the 660SM and don't find it noisy at all.  :nix:  I suspect in the very least it may be quieter than the Wood cam reputation. This does not address your question though. Just a simple observation on operating characteristics.

11.3:1 is a little too high for the 660. Have a look at the reaper 594.

I've run the 594's, they're really more mid and top cams. The S&S 625's have similar timing, and more lift, they pull down low better, but still on the top side. Running them now. Ran both at 11.30 static.

My 660sm (the pre 660ps) is set a touch over 11:1 and is killer.  Call than and get it from the designer.
