Title: New Exhaust....

Hi everyone, I have a question. I have a 2018 Road king and just put Vance and hines big radious on along with a stage one air kit. I know I need a tune but when I start it up it revs to like 4500 rpms . Is that normal  till I get it tuned ? Thanks guys !!!!

Do you have a tach? Did you change the air cleaner, too? Chances of the bike going to 4500 @ startup is extremely slim, unless you have a hand on the throttle, or a severe intake leak.  Check the plastic intake manifold & seals for issues.

I agree, 2500 rpms is a lot, 4500 is damn near runaway motor territory. If that motor is going to 4500 rpm, you have some serious issue.

You have most probably dislodges the Intake Seals when installing the Stage-I. Remove and torque the Intake Flange's.
