I have a 95 Heratage.  I'm needing to replace the spoke wheels.   I think I wanna put those smooth spoke wheels on.  Has anyone done this or know where to buy some wheels

I went with a DNS Specialty custom colour 'tubeless spoked' front wheel (Black Rim & Mammoth spokes [52], Yellow Nipples & Hub), ... looks so good, the rear is on order now :)

Interesting treatment you did on those inner fork tubes.  What are they plated with?

I put a set of Ride Rite tubeless fat spokes on my 2005 springer. Rear started leaking after a few years. Tried replacing stem a few times, can't find leak, sent back to factory for warranty. they said they fixed it and charged me $50.00 shipping and handling to get it back. Guess what, it still leaks, about 5-7 lbs/week. Putting a tube in it. Point of story, don't buy a Ride Right wheel. Frank

Ride Right and DNA are not thought well of by me.

Uh oh.  Had never used a DNA wheel before but two years ago bought one.  Original stock wheel was eaten through from the inside out in many places.  A local indie had this new wheel in stock in the size I needed so took it home without too much though.

Had to drill it for the speedometer drive.  Changing the old single pots to PM brakes at the same time so, not unexpectedly, had to create a spacer combination that worked.  But the wheel and Avon tire balanced with no weight and, so far, it's given me no worries.

So what are the concerns I should watch for?  Leaky spokes or something worse?

Hey Phil... I'd be interested in the reasons for your poor opinion of DNA wheels too....

I started a thread about tubeless spoked wheels, and three people gave DNA a multi-year, trouble free recommendation..

Who do you prefer/recommend for new spoked wheels... especially OEM style (I'm not a fan of the fat spoked wheels)....??

Just curious, but do those smooth fat spoke wheels with lots of spokes weigh a ton? They look heavy.

Between the belt drive on one side and the disc brake on the other.  I want a rear wheel that cleans and polishes itself.

Nice!  I never would have thought of doing that with the fork tube.  I once gold plated the lower pushrod tubes on a Sportster.  With the black jugs and the top of the tubes chrome, looked great.  A little gold or even brass here and there can do a lot for a bikes appearance.

I have had DNA wheels, with broken spokes, Wheels being out of true (right out of the box).  Crooked wheel bearing bores.  The sealed versions leaking air, the valve stem hole for tubes in a weird position that put a strain on inner tubes and some of  the poorest customer service in the industry.  DNA is Do Not Attempt.  Don't get me started on the DNA springers either.    I do not like to poo poo products in public but you asked and this is one that I feel strongly about.
As to good spoke wheels,  the old style steel HD OEM spoke wheels are good, the PM spoke wheel were high quality at $1100 each, Excel rims laced by Buchanans to stock HD hubs would be my favorite.

I loved my heritage that had America Wire Wheels 100 radial spoke. I put over 40k miles on those rims with zero issues. I can not remember the tire brand I used, but they had a (tire balanced) dot on tire that if you lined with the valve no weights needed.
They were high quality rims.
