Title: SE 128 & 131 Kits
Post by: Nastytls on May 30, 2020, 05:23:30 AM
Anyone here measured the compression these kits have?

Also, anyone know what valve lift are those SE heads it comes with can handle?

Well, it seems like they may be 10.5

Still can't find anything about valve spring capacity.

These (https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson.com/sip/service/document/1343303219091640534?locale=en_US) are the instructions for the heads that are in the kits.
Claiming .540" lift with the supplied springs. Pretty sure I seen the installed height and seat pressure in there also.
I guess that's what you're after.

Yes, that tells me what I needed to know. Thank you.

Are the oil control rings on the 128 3mm opposed to the stock 2mm? Not wasting my money if they are not. My 17 RG consumes way too much oil to not replace the cylinders this fall.

I believe the CNC heads have 95cc chambers, anyone got the cc of the piston dish for the 128cid pistons in this kit? - Rob
