Title: Aftermarket head unit
Post by: 89 fxrs on May 06, 2019, 04:24:13 PM
was considering replacing the stock head unit with an aftermarket one and would like some feedback on some options/brands - was looking at the JVC KD- R99MBS , Kenwood KMM-BT325U, and the Sony MexGS620BT but am open to any other suggestions - don't need a ton of fancy options but would like handle bar controls, usb port to use a flash drive and bluetooth

Funny, I consider all of those as "fancy options." Damn I'm old.

Check out Alpine too.  You'll need a kit to keep your handlebar controls that costs ~$150.

I just got an Aquatic Av AQ-MP-5UBT-HS, sounds great, works great and has everything you are asking for.
