Title: 2200rpm studder
Post by: LMR on March 21, 2019, 10:18:51 AM
The bike is a 2016 flhtkse with 117 kit, Dan Vance heads and t-625 cams. The issue arises around 2200 rpms. The rest of the bike has been tuned but the tuner is having issues with that spot. The pipe is a bassani b1. He says the cylinders are not reacting to any input. I am looking for some ideas to try. The next step is to put a large washer in the muffler to make sure it is not just from the pipe. The fuel pump was checked.

What throttle position? Is this a steady state issue, a " I'm whackin it wide open" issue, or somewhere in between?

I'm not sure, I think it was a steady throttle to map that section. He even took it for a ride to see how it handled in the real world. I think next is checking injectors, compression and the auto compression release.

Can you post the calibration? Or who is tuning it.
