I'm isolating primary, so i don't need primary chain oiler that runs off oil pump. I would like to cut that nipple off flush and put in a set screw like S&S did. Now would be good time since pump off bike. Anyone ever done this? Thread size?

Don't remember the size, maybe was an 8-24 or 10-24. But all you need do is measure the nipple diameter. Then look at a tap a die chart, use what is close to the hole size when you pull the nipple out.

can't you just adjust the screw all the way in and that will stop the oiling ? and Cap off  where the line went or am I wrong in my thinking ?

The screw is to adjust the rear chain oiler, I'm thinking. The primary chain oiler was adjustable only on tin primary models.

Once you know the facts, the answer will stand proud.

I pulled the nipple out of the pump and tapped it with a 1/16x27 NPT tapered pipe tap. I had a leftover pipe plug out of a S&S pump.
